SITUATION
Iraqi armored columns are pushing south down three approach lanes toward coalition blocking positions VIPER, ANVIL and RAVEN. They must hold until relief arrives.
MISSION
You are the forward air controller for HAWG 1, a single A-10. Designate gun runs, Mavericks and bombs. Hold the line through six waves — and don't put ordnance on your own people.
1GUN RUNpress at the start, drag a heading, then release to fire. Unlimited. Rake whole columns.
2MAVERICKtap a vehicle to lock. One sure kill, no splash.
3MK-82tap a point. Wide blast — wide enough to reach the line.
Kill AAA early — it shoots at HAWG 1 on every pass. Strikes near friendlies are flagged DANGER CLOSE but still go in.
